Hi, my name is Amiyah and I was born and raised in Philadelphia on February 20th, 2000. Ever since a child I’ve always had a love hate relationship with cosmetology. I remember my mother always doing my braids with such an ease that just amazed me. I had always wanted to be able to just braid like her and do her hair if she ever needed me to. On December 24th, 2014 funny I know, I remember the exact date that I started working at my first hair salon. I started out being a receptionist and gradually I started learning how to master certain hair tools and that my darling was the beginning of my journey.
